Maren Update

So, I forgot to mention a couple of things in Maren's 10 month update and she recently reached a couple of new milestones! Here are some of the things I forgot to mention about Mare Bear:

• She loves to point at things -- especially people she's happy to see.
• She claps when we say "Yay!"
• She tries to sign Daddy.
• If Addi is taking a nap and we hear her wake up and I call her name, Maren perks up and cocks her head to the side like she is listening for Addi and then screams "Aaaaaaaaa" which I am pretty sure means Addi in Mare speak.
  
• She signs milk whenever she wants something, except for milk. "Maren, do you want some yogurt?" -- signs for milk excitedly. "Maren, do you want a drink of water (keep in mind I am saying this and making the sign for water)?" -- signs for milk excitedly. "Maren, do you want some mama milk (as I do the correct sign for milk)?" -- she rips her bink out of her mouth, throws it on the floor and dives for the boobs.

Newbie milestones:

• Yesterday she took 5 unassisted steps!
• She loves to climb Addi's reading chair, grab the handle and hang from it and then she lets go, knowing that she'll fall, also knowing that one of us will catch her. Not really a milestone, but interesting regardless.
