WP Fun

Our stay in Winter Park was incredible as usual. We plan on taking some ski lessons later in the season, so this time we kept busy with a sleigh ride, some tubing, playing games and sledding. We thought that the sleigh ride might me too cold for Maren, so Brian stayed home snuggling her while we all braved the cold to take Addi to see some horses and ride on the sleigh! The horses were so sweet, and the one nearest Addi kept nudging her with his nose so she would pet him. She was thrilled that she got to actually touch a horse because she had been talking about it for weeks! The ride was fun, and we had some interesting conversation -- Addi and Ashley kept talking about how funny it would be if random things were made of cheese and arguing over which one of them smelled the most like cheese -- weird, I know, but that's how they roll. Halfway through the ride we stopped at a campfire, roasted marshmallows and drank some hot chocolate. The ride was a total success and so much fun!
One day my mom, Ashley, Addi and I all went up a trail for an afternoon walk. Mom and Ash snow-shoed and I drug Addi up the hill on her sled. It was gorgeous, and a good workout to boot! Another day we decided to take Miss Addi to the tubing hill in Frasier to see if she will be our future little adrenaline junky. We thought she would either love tubing, or absolutely hate it. Luckily she loved it, and was even begging to ride in her own tube by the end. Good thing there was an outdoor escalator to drag our butts up the hill after each ride. We would go down the hill in a train (with Addi on Brian's lap) and Addi would squeal the whole time and ask to go faster! We might have a speed demon on our hands after all :)
