Addison Lane Ickler was born at 2:40 pm on December 11, 2005 at Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, California. Being 7 weeks premature, she weighed 4 lb. 5 oz. and was 16 in. long. Kara had to deliver her by emergency c-section because Addison decided to flip breech on the day of her birth and kick the cord through the opening in the cervix. I guess there was no keeping her in any longer.
Kara didn't get to spend much time with Addi on her birthday because she was recovering from surgery, but Brian and Nona got in some great quality snuggles.

What a babe! And I do mean 'baby'. She's got a few years to go before she becomes 'hot mamma'. Brian, you'll be beating away the boys. Start practicing. Post more picture! I want to see more of Addi!
